A Baptism! {week 43}

Hello everyone!
This has been an amazing week!
Here are some highlights:
Monday: We had the awesomest zone p day ever! We all ferried over to New Castle Island (an island off the coast of Nanaimo) and played frisbee and just had some fun as a zone! I don't have the pics with me so that will have to wait till next week! The elders went on the first ferry and then us sisters missed the second ferry! So that was sad but we still got to go on the island after some time and have a blast! I love being a missionary!
Tuesday: Zone conference! I love zone conference! We got our smart phones so that was crazy! President Wong is wanting to ease us into it so he's only allowing us to use texting, calling, and gospel library. My phone doesn't have a SIM card so I just use gospel library. It's still pretty cool though! It's weird having technology but my habits with it have completely changed. Everyone go read safegaurds for technology in the missionary section of gospel library! It is for missionaries but the other day the ward had a pornography awareness meeting and safegaurds for technology was cited as a source to help prevent it!
After zone conference we rushed back to Nanaimo to watch Deborah get baptized! It was AMAZING! I am so happy for her! She is such a trooper, she had to get dunked 6 TIMES! But she just smiled through it all! It's happy moments like these that just make everything worth it :)
Wednesday: The day we had back to back lessons that all fell through :( we were able to see a lot of miracles though! It's so weird everyday (and I mean EVERYDAY) we find ourselves by this one completely white complex. We're literately there everyday. I practically live there
Thursday: This was a pretty normal day with some weekly planning, some planning for the zone, and then we got to have some lessons and some time to go finding! All in the day and the life of a missionary!
Friday: once again we found ourselves by the white complex haha. We were able to find some new people to teach which was awesome! We also got to see the x-wife of one of our investigators up in Qualicum. He's been begging us to visit her and it turns out she's a less active member! He didn't even know she was a member! It was such a miracle to see her and the spirit was so strong! I know that Heavenly Father loves both of these people SO MUCH. They also have a really cute little girl!
Saturday: We got to have a lesson with our amazing investigator who is getting baptized on the 12th! She is so prepared! I love her so much! We also got to have dinner with some members from Brazil! They are so kind and we had so much fun!
Sunday: We gave talks in church! I was so nervous but I had such a good time writing the talk! After church we went on exchanges and I got to spend some time in beautiful Courtney! It is absolutely gorgeous down there!
Today: Got to spend half of pday in Courtney! We went on 2 hikes, went to a cute bakery, and walked along the beach! It was a dream! I LOVE the ocean! I never thought I would spend time walking along side the beach when I read "Canada" in my mission call haha.
All in all this week has been great! I love being a missionary! I know that as we trust in God and let Him guide us, He will help us to reach our full potential. He has so much more planned for us than we do for ourselves. After all, His work and His glory "is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." Isn't that so amazing! Also, sorry no pictures, they're all on our phones and we're not allowed to email from our phones yet haha :)
